If it really is deep and you can't afford to go get stitches, go to Wal-Mart and buy some erfly stitches and put those on. Honey is a well known healing agent (kills bacteria and promotes healing) as is Extra Virgin Olive oil (just like honey). If you get those erfly stitches, all you need to do it leave it alone and maybe put some neosporin on it. If you go the route of honey or olive oil, you should just clean it with some alcohol and dry it good before you dress it up. At night, try to keep it uncovered as that will also help the healing process a lot by letting it breathe. It is itching cause it is healing already.
