Worried about my cat. Probably nothing though. I tend to overreact?

Cats mask illness very well. A change in behavior can be a sign of illness. Try a vet visit first to make sure he is OK. Also, is he fixed? If not he may be starting to think about a girlfriend. If he is fixed and not sick, he could just be starting to act like a normal cat. They work on their own schedule and you are allowed to join in once in a while. LOL
