28 days has gone will it hatch?

I have hatched Aylesbury ducks in the past. At this moment in time is the egg moving or chirping? Sometimes they don't always come on the 28th day they can come few days afterwards (if the temp been a little cool this can cause late hatching). But if few days have past still nothing you may have to create a tiny hole and see if it is alive i.e chirping. If the duckling has made the initial pipping of the egg (making a tiny hole) it can take up to 24 hours before it hatches. But if its well over a week & still nothing im afraid the little duckling has died. Oh after 17 days its not good to candle an egg. Case of sit tight & hope for the best! Good luck
