How do i replace the retractable stock on my rock river ar-15?

I have the the rock river car a4, and it came with the collapsable stock...i just got the magpul ctr in the mail...it didnt come with the pole in which it slides on...just the stock. so how can i take the rra stock off and keep the existing pole on there?
